I read somwhere:, and the 'jist' I got was (something about):
.. only about half (decision makers) do look at previous submissions.
Also, any of YOUR (the claiment) OWN written Info (for instance) from previous claim/submission, may not be relevent 'AT THIS TIME'
I.E. (any award change is a 'decision' (with right of appeal ,, after MR) and info most relevent 'at the time of the decision' (and 6mths previous? would/should carry much more 'weight' (more reliable and relevent).

My head is mashed at mo, so please forgive, but maybe someone can make sense of ..
Gordon ??

I have moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being taken or given.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking. :(

I can't comment on whether DMs read the claimants files or not beyond the fact that they are supposed as part of the Decision process.

Any review is of the claimant's conditions and limitations as they are now but that does not mean that they cannot refer to information from a previous assessment, in fact, the whole purpose of the AR1 Review form is to do that.

Newer evidence is always going to be better than old but if you can show the relevance of any old evidence to how you are now then it can still be used,
