The project is running later than anticipated. DLA claimants are being selected at random so it could be tomorrow or next year that you receive an invitation to claim PIP. All DLA claimants who meet the transfer criteria will be invited to claim PIP.

However there is always a chance you could get less money. If i had known this instead of waiting for the brown envelop to drop through the letter box i would have requested a tranfer because of a change in circumstances and received £1200 in backdated award.
No award, where the claimant is transferring from DLA to PIP will be backdated, the Transfer legislation does not allow it.

Sorry Gordon I am unsure what you mean in your response.
Are you saying that there is no backdating to the date of application in the case of a change in circumstances? If that is the case then can you advise what date the change of circumstances award runs from?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
If the claimant is being moved from DLA to PIP then there is no backdating of a higher award, whatever the circumstances of the transfer.
If the claimant is already receiving PIP and they report a CofC then any increased award should be backdated.
