Could someone please clarify if my understanding is correct. As I understand it you need to show you need help with activities but it's not a requirement to actuly receive this help. To elaborate i live alone and can't get the help i need when needed.

This is correct but you will need to explain how you manage or indeed don't if you do not receive the prompting, assistance or supervision.
