My GF suffers fro bipolar and was awarded standard care and nil mobility on appeal this was increased to enhanced care and standard mobility the only downside been the reward was reduced from two years to six months starting the middle to the end of May. I assume that means they’ll come rapping on her door pretty soon
Anyway my GF has now suffered a relapse and is back in hospital; when they send us out the new form that should be worth a few points. I’m wondering though is it worth a preemptive strike and tell them she’s in hospital? Or is it best to wait until they contact her
Judging by previous admissions I’m guessing she’ll be out in about two weeks from now
You must contact the DWP if your GF is in hospital. after 28 days her PIP has to be suspended and you risk a recoverable overpayment of her benefit is they are not informed.
