ESA paper based, still in support group.+ Question was created by rachel
I received a letter yesterday regarding ESA saying a decision has been made and I will continue to be in the support group. (social anxiety disorder + agoraphobia)
I did not get invited to a face to face this time, so they decided based on my claim form and evidence alone.
Backstory - However, I did one last time, failed, (missed my form deadline and sent one in late) and appealed (paper based) and the tribunal actually put me from WRAG to support group for 18 months. Also, I am waiting for an at home assessment for dla to pip, So I will have to do one for that. Just waiting for a date.
Time scale - I posted my forms and evidence on 3rd August, and received the letter yesterday, so that's a total of 10 weeks between posting and receiving a letter. So relieved its a result and not a date for a face to face
Question - The letter states my decision and the amount.
But it doesn't tell me what points I scored, or when I will next be reassessed.
I don't want to be too fussy because I'm very relieved but I'd also like to know when to expect the next re-assessment. I'm also curious if they asked my GP for a report and if they did I'd like to see a copy.
Do you have any advice on whether I should ask them for this, advice on what to ask for, a letter template, any advice on wording? Or is it unreasonable/unnecessary of me to want to know how long the decision is or what I specifically scored on.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Congratulations on the award, well done.
If you contact the DWP office dealing with your claim they can tell you when you will be reassessed, you can also request a copy of the assessment report which should show how the award was made. They may be able to tell you about whether your GP was contacted but if they can't then contact your GP surgery.
