My son has struggled his whole life with challenges related to his difficulties, he's 16 and transitioning to adult services, I want to be able to show him that with all the unfairness he has had in life that at the least he has a social security system in place that is there to support him and I can't do that. Now I'm hoping the law will be our safety net and that fairness will come into play through the tribunal. I can't believe he was meant to deal with all this at 16.
It's good to know there are people like you and the countless others who look out and fight for the rights of people who aren't able to do so themselves. I need to know those people exist when i think about my son going out into the world. So thank you for helping me feel reassured when the very system set up to support my son can't even do this.
Hope you too manage to get what you are entitled to and are able to have a break from this whole nightmare soon too!

Is this Tribunal ref still valid for challenging the length of an award?
Many thanks

I was only in there about ten minutes, as they said I had given plenty of evidence, which was corroborated by many professionals.
They said that he should retain the enhanced daily living, and that he scored the 10 points I for mobility activity 1 as I had argued for.
They also set aside the two year award and said the award should be ongoing.
(On the notice it says - It is inappropriate to fix a term).
I had quoted paragraphs 62, 63, 66, 73, and 74 from, and attached the full judgement of, RS v Sec of State for Work and Pensions [2016] UKUT 0085 (AAC).
I think this helped a lot to get the ongoing award.

Yes, it is still valid if you can show that is relevant to your case.
