Well my wife had her medical today, lasted 30mins the assessor had traveled over 100 miles for our home visit and had a couple more to do ,very nice women ,out my wife at ease ,we had gone over and ver the questions that would probably be asked ,all the questions on the pip form were asked most very briefly and we could have added more but the assessor moved quickly into the next one on the computer ,physical check was very brief,my wife has neck back injury after a car accident and fibromyalgia, arthritis ,biggest problem cervical myelopathy, then was asked to walk no more than a few feet ,that was it all over ,we await the decision good or bad ,she thought it would take around 6 weeks

Jaffa

A Decision may be longer than the six weeks quoted, members are reporting wait times of 12 weeks at the moment.

Give it a couple of days and you should be able to request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with her claim.

If it is something that you are hoping to score for then I would write a letter to the DWP office dealing with the claim, explaining the problem and noting that it was not covered during the assessment.
