Son wants to move back home how will this affect m

Hi there
I’m currently in receipt of pip and ESA plus I get mortgage interest payment each month . I currently only pay a small amount to my council tax ...My son who is grown up and would like to move back home works full time . How would this impact my situation , financially?

Your PIP and SMI will not be affected.

Your ESA might be reduced if you are receiving the Severe Disability Premium as one of the requirements is that you live alone. If you don't receive the Premium then it then your ESA should not change.

I don't think your Council Tax will be affected but this is not an area that we advise on.
