PIP taken away! what now? was created by fastmoggy
Ok so the brown envelope arrived today and as expected bad news, from full mobility to nothing!
Looking at the PA4 report we couldn't see why as the planning and following a journey had been changed from box F( cannot follow the route of a familiar journey without another person, assistance dog or orientation aid) which has been the case and found proven at 2 tribunal's For the last 8 years to> A. (can plan and follow the route of a journey unaided)
Selection A was a supprise choice for the accessor who obviously hadn't listened or read the evidence as supplied!
SO question is how do we continue with the MR? calling them i get but how do we present the evidnce in a convincing way without the need to go to yet another tribunial?
many thanks to one and all who reads this and can give us advice on how to continue in a positive way.

The first stage to challenging a Decision is for you to request a Mandatory Reconsideration, this needs to be done in writing to the DWP, within one month of the Decision, to the office that dealt with your claim, have a look at our PIP MR & Appeal guide for details of the process, the PIP area also has template letters that you can use to make the request with.

As to how to show you should score higher, I think there are three things you need to cover, you may have already covered these so it might just be a case of referring the Decision Maker to the information they already have.
First, you need to explain why you cannot follow the route of a journey.
Next, refer back to your two Tribunal wins they establish that you have previously met the criteria for this Descriptor.
Lastly, you need to explain why you still meet the criteria based on their conditions as they are now.
