Good Afternoon Panel
My ESA claim has been extended without formal WCA twice - in 2015 & 2017. It is due again for review in a few months time.
Do you know what the position is in London re ESA backlogs etc which caused the auto renewals before? Could I hope for a similar outcome in 2019?
If not, my medical evidence in terms of clinic letters will be more than two years' old. If I were reviewed as per WCA for 1st time since 2013, has DWP shown any evidence of using common sense and accepting older letters, given it hasn't actually formally reviewed me for nearly 6 years? Or will they dig their heels in and expect me to go chasing around clinics where I may not be a current outpatient because I have been discharged, and my GP alone is monitoring me?
Finally, could I expect to be migrated to UC around the latest review date, assuming no current ESA backlogs?
Thank you
A
