Hi Everyone, Can anyone advise me of the starting point to apply for early retirement on ill health grounds. My GP and Psychotherapist are fully supportive in my pursuing this course of action. I am 63 years old with a debilitating and complex Mental/Psychological condition, first diagnosed in 2006 via the DSM IV assessment. Prior to this I became ill/psychotic/self- harmed/attempted suicide/hospitalization/broken in 1996. I managed to work again for 2yrs 7mths before crashing again in 2015. Its been a long long haul to get this far. I'm in receipt of ESA (support group), DLA, middle rate care-low rate mobility, and my wife gets carer's allowance. Sadly, I have attempted suicide three times in the last twelve months. Therapy, (self funded for 18mths now) is essential to help me identify how 'triggers' effect my daily/hourly existence. I am fortunate to have a very supportive family. I will be most grateful if someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you
