Hi Gordon I hope you don’t mind me highjacking Gail’s topic. I hope you don’t mind either Gail but after reading your topic it got me wondering if I’m entitled to any of the severe disability premiums . I have heard of them but I’m not sure who is entitled to them though.
My figures are similar to Gail’s but without the couples severe disability premiums
Couples allowance £114.85 fortnightly
Extra money Dusability income Guarantee £36.00
Extra money because husband is carer £23.55
Extra money Disability income Guarentee £23.55
Extra money as in support Group £37.65
I receive Enhanced Mobility
I receive Enhanced Care
Total income related Amount altogether is. £212.05 Fortnightly
Careers Allowance of £64.60 to be deducted
So my Income related for both is £147.45 fortnightly.
Now I’ve Read many peoples awards on here and on other sites and their all a lot higher than mine. I was just wondering Gordon would I be entitled to the couples severe Disability Premium or anything like it ,as were struggle having to pay bedroom tax and now have to pay towards council tax and my mobility moneys goes straight to a WAV.
I know you don’t deal in all benefits Gordon but I’d be very grateful if you could advise me if I entitled to anything else.

I can't go through everybody's payments figuring out whether they are getting the money!
The Disability Income Guarantee is the Enhanced Disability Premium, you don't mention anything about your partner but unless they have an enabling benefit such as DLA MRC or HRC or PIP Daily Living then the Severe Disability Premium is not payable as you are not living alone.
Put your information into one of the online benefit calculators to see if anything else is payable.
