IR ESA3 Form: was created by black2cat
My husband rec a IRESA3 form asking about the time period 2013 to now.
He receives CB ESA in the support group.

We don't want to claim IRESA as we won't qualify for it. So we won't be returning the form part of the IRESA form.

But the DWP ask for the reply slip to be returned. None of the 3 statements on the slip are relevant to us and there is no option for "No I don't want to claim".

We could decide not to return the reply slip, but we will probably receive another letter and form.
None of these statement are relevant to us.
The reply slip asks:
1. you or your partner worked for more than 24 hours a week.
2. You had or have over £16000.
3. You both had or have over £16000.

We could just hand write on the form that we don't want to claim IRESA, without a reason, but the DWP may not accept a hand written answer or ask why we don't want to make a claim.

Thank you for reading.

If you are certain that you do not qualify, see

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?view=topic&catid=10&id=125222

Then just write a short note explaining why and return the form.
