Hi i just received the pip award, with standard and enhanced mobility as I suffer with osteoarthritis which has is getting worse but they have only given 18 months the lowest allowed time. Would I perhaps get a worse award given to me, if I ask for a reconsideration letter asking for a look at the length of the award with a view to an appeal.as I dont want another interview I am 61 many thanks Gorden

Requesting an MR does carry the risk of your award being reduced or removed, it does not happen very often but it does happen.

We haven't seen members have too much success when challenging just the award length, you will almost certainly have to go to appeal about the matter.
