How will my student finance affect my pip & esa was created by MOBOLANLE
I suffer from leng tern mental illness and I am currently a student in one of the universities. I was given an SFE loan and I've been devasted as to how this will affect my ESA & PIP. Do I stand a better chance if I dont apply for either DSA or SFE but am confused on how I will go about my study which includes compulsory placement hours.
I've received limited capability forms from PIP & ESA & I have a PIP interview on the 19th of this month. Can you pls guide me, am just so devasted right now. Thank you

I assume that you are receiving Income Related ESA, in which case any income that you receive is going to affect the amount of ESA that you receive, your PIP is not affected by this income.
I can't really offer much advice as I don't know your circumstances, there should be a student advisor at your college or university that has experience of these issues.
As to the ESA50, please use our ESA Claim guide to help you complete the form

Our PIP Claim guide has sections on the assessment and the questions that you are likely to be asked.

If you have any specific questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
