I had my pip appeal on 8 December. I heard today the appeal court awarded me pip at the enhanced rate. I phoned the Dept of Work and Pensions to find out when I’ll get my money to be told they have 28 days to appeal the decision and even if they don’t appeal it will take 6 - 8 weeks to get payment. I’m so stressed. I was so happy to get the successful appeal notice
Like you, the DWP has a further right of appeal but not because they don't like the Decision, only because they think there was an Error of Law in its making. In reality, it is very rare for this to happen.
I always quote 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result so that is in line with what the DWP have told you.
So well done on winning your appeal, congratulations.
