ESA medical was created by Lala125
Hi,
Sent in my questionnaire sept 2018 and in Oct Atos called and said that I don’t need a medical. I thought great and heard no more than today I got a call offf Asos to ask me to attend a medical. Why the change ? They don’t know and DWP don’t know either so waiting on a call back when they got some answers. Now I’m completley stressed. What do you think it could be with the change of action?
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that the calls were from ATOS, they are no longer involved in ESA assessments and haven't been for some time?

Are you be assessed for PIP?

Hi Gordon, it’s the CHDA. Don’t know why the change. I sent in a letter from my GP and they called and asked who my GP is few months ago but his name is on the form. Plus I sent a letter with his name on. The DWP called this morning and said wait till I get the appointment letter and pick it up with them why the change. I’m in support group at moment.

Best guess is that report produced by the original assessor did not pass audit due to lack of information and it was decided that a face to face was required.

Does your GP letter explain, in unambiguous terms, why you cannot attend at their offices?
