When I went for my assessment for DLA to PIP I lost my high rate mobilty, the assessor said I told her I could drive regularly and also do shopping on line using the computer so she decided the majority of the time I could manage unaided so dropped my mobility to standard however she did not state that I told her I use cruise control to save my legs and have a special seat fitted and it takes me at least one day to recover after any journey however short.
Basically I feel they do what ever they want to get people who need help off their benefits
