I have been waiting for my tribunal date since last summer. Got a letter this week from tribunal service with a date for in two weeks time. My stomach has been churning with nerves again ever since. Got a call from tribunal office in Liverpool yesterday making sure I was still ok to go ahead with it and what rate of mobility I am going to try for. During the conversation she was asking how far I could walk and how long I could stand for etc. She was gobsmacked when I told her that my assessor told me not to put too much emphasis on how much trouble I have getting around because some people have had their cars taken off them because they were deemed not safe enough to drive. Has anyone else had this sort of call or come across this tactic before?
This is not to do with your reasons for appeal, they were asking to make sure that you could access the venue without a significant problem, so nothing for you to worry about.
