There are no "soft touch" assessments for ESA, however, some claimants will be exempted from further assessment if they are in the SG and meet certain criteria.

The PIP soft touch assessments are in place but we will not see the first of these carried out until 2023 so we have no idea what they will consist of.

Thanks for the reply, reason I ask is because in 2012 I was placed in the support group with no medical and at the end of Jan I received another esa50. Today, because of you invaluable advice, I have again been placed in the support group without having to attend a medical. Thank you.....I wish everyone with benefit woes would take advantage of you site.

Received another letter today saying I will not be required to attend another assessment again for my ESA but to let them know if my condition changes in the future, seems soft touch re-assessments may have started?

Congratulations. We've seen four or five of these before.
