My Son has Graves Disease and Serious graves eye disease
We went through a consultation this morning at home.
My son as said by the moderator presented himself calmly and not distressed which is more than I can say for me.
I look after all of my sons medications and he is only in school 50 per cent of the time. He is 18. At the end of the consultation I asked the moderator did she think we would get any help. She said probably not because my son was calm and not distressed.
I told he that just because he was calm does that mean we dont spend hours a weeksorting meds. 3 hospital appointments t attend a week a serios eye surgery planned in the coming weeks. I cant write too much at the minute as I am shaking. He told her that he feels life is not worth living sometimes and sees a counsellerevery Monday.
You can't do anything until a Decision is made in the interim request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with his claim.
