EATING DISORDERS/ANOREXIA AND PIP was created by angelcarol
THANK YOU...does this have a place on my PIP form? it has a massive impact on the daily living bit about eating, prompting, telephone supervision for eating etc that they may not have come up against, or have? any information on this please on your site. i am poor sighted sorry if i missed a link. and heaven forbid if they refuse my claim, how on earth do we meet the cost of living without it? i lost child tax credit last year and ive been in a food bank ever since

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Eating disorders are covered under two of the PIP activities;
Preparing Food - if you don choose appropriate food to prepare and cook in the first place, then you may be able to score for this.
Taking Nutrition - Although this is primarily about the physical issue of eating you can still score for this
However, I think you will struggle to score sufficiently for an award on just these two activities so if you have problems with any of the other PIP activities then you need to explain those difficulties in detail.
The PIP activities are explained in detail in our PIP Claim guide on the following link
