Due to frequent and severe nausea vomiting i am unable to cook food at all and most of the time be around the preparation of food. Where do I stand with points in regard to this on mental health grounds?
I have an upcoming assessment.
Food is done by my father.

You may struggle to score, assessors and Decision Makers lack imagination when looking at a claimant's problems and may be looking for more traditional reasons why you cannot prepare and cook a meal.

Is the problem a diagnosed condition? Do you / have you received treatment for it?

Yes diagnosed and have a whole range of treatment and history with it.

It would not be safe for me to cook, though im struggling with how I would word this to the assessor as as you say things need to be broken down for them i understand!

Break down the issues into things that you can easily explain, so perhaps your sickness and when it occurs, then safety and then anything else that it is relevant. If your problems are different, as you suggested from preparing to cooking the food, try and separate these as well.
