I had my f2f just over a fortnight ago. I did not ask for a home visit but when I received the appointment letter it was a home visit. which was good because if i was having a bad day then I was concerned that I would have had to cancel.
I called last week and asked for a copy of the report which I received a few days later. The report has quite a few inaccuracies in it. She only asked me to do a few exercises like pinching her finger and raising my arms and putting them behind my back. The report said I could raise both arms and put them behind my back which is not accurate because I can't. and couldn't with my left arm. I was not asked to do any leg exercises because thankfully she could see that I would not have done any without being in a great deal of pain and falling over.
Overall the report said that I have problems with mobility and would not reliably walk the 20m and that I would not be able to prepare meals and that I need help washing my lower body and putting socks and trousers on. The report said that I was worse than I actually am because it says that I am like this everyday but I did say that I have better days. So the report is inaccurate but overall in some parts in a positive way for my claim.
When I asked for a copy of the report the lady did stress that it could be changed. Does anyone know how or why a report by their so called health professional can be changed?

Most of the time it's not changed but the DM may ask the assessor what they have made certain comments of not taken something into account and this can result in the report being revised.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I received my PIP verdict yesterday, I scored 9 points for daily living and 12 points for moving around, and this is what I thought I should get.
It goes on to say that I have been awarded the enhanced rate from January 2019 to March 2023. Hopefully my stress levels can get back to normal before March 2023. Obviously I am delighted with the outcome, and so glad that I do not have to ask for a reconsideration, because it has been stressful enough, and I can only sympathise with the people who do get the points they deserve.
I would like to thank Gordon and the site for all the help that this site has given me because I am so glad I found the site because it has helped me a lot with filling in my PIP application.
