Hi to all, and to Gordon.

Just a quick question, I was placed in the SG 2 years ago for a period of 2 years, that was in mid june 2017. Does this mean that the ESA650 review papers will be sent to me say mid may 2019.

I'm going on the basis that when the prognosis date is due say mid june 2019, then papers for a reassessment of esa will be sent out 4 weeks prior to the end of the prognosis date. So am I right to think or assume my letter box will be getting reassessment papers in mid may 2019.

Any replies from other members would also be helpful, as i need to try to sort out my paper swork from my last assessment and to try to arrange update support letters from GP and other specialists in advance.

regards.

MrF

Yes, I would guess mid to late May, unless it has been deferred for some reason.

Obviously I have only my own experience of sg. I was put in for three years in 2012 and only received my review forms in January 2019. My guess would be that if it’s a clear cut case they may leave you but it’s just my opinion. Best of luck

Mine was 18 months from November 2015, and I didn't get another form back until November 2018. I don't know whether the delay was down to backlogs in my specific area, or more generally though. If it is more widespread, then while it might be useful to sort out your paperwork from the last assessment, and possibly download the latest PDF version of the form so you can start preparing your answers, it's probably best to hold off requesting supporting statements until you actually get the new form. Otherwise you may end up having to request them again to better reflect your condition at that point if there's a particularly long delay between when you were expecting to be reassessed, and when you actually were.

In my experience I have always received the renewal form exactly 2 months before - so I should be prepared from mid April if I were you. That said, last time I didn't receive anything & eventually phoned up to be told that the re-assessment had been deferred for 2 yrs.

Good Luck!
Francis
