Thanks. Do you know what the right questions they could be - or does it simply depend on the information they need to complete the assessment without a face to face?

What can I ask the doctor to write about to get the most chance of the face to face not being needed or for them to decide to go ahead without it?

You need the GP to explain why a face to face assessment is inappropriate and will cause harm to the claimant, the letter needs to be unambiguous, any suggestion that there are circumstances where it would be acceptable will likely render the letter useless.

They also need to be willing to provide Maximus with any information that they might request about the claimant and to do so within a reasonable period of time. This might be by letter but it is possible that they might be phoned, if the latter; what level of authority would they need from the claimant to allow them to speak to them.
