If someone suffers from double incontinence and so can not go out alone because they need help to get to a toilet and to change etc which descriptor, if any in the mobility activities would apply ?

I think they would struggle to score.

The Moving Around activity looks at the claimant's ability to stand and walk but with distances of less than 200m being required to score, can you reasonably show that they are limited for this test?

The Going Out activity offers more opportunity to score but not as a direct result of the incontinence, rather as a by-product of it. So it may be possible to argue that they cannot undertake a journey or that they cannot follow a route, the former is likely to be easier.

For both, you will need to show that the incontinence leads to "overwhelming psychological distress" and it is that which prevents the tasks being completed.

This is not a proven argument and is unlikely to be successful with the assessor and the DM that are told that the Going Out activity does not consider physical issues such as incontinence but it may have more traction at an appeal.
