My original award was from 14.12.16 to 19.10.19 standard rate for both but received a form to complete for re-assessment and attended FTF on 21.3.19 today received letter saying still get standard for both but dates are from 4.4.19 to 19.10.19 on the back of this page in the section "making sure the PIP you get is right" it states " we will contact you while you're getting PIP to see if your needs have changed and to look at the amount you get. This will be after 19 October 2018" seems odd because we have already passed 19 October 2018 !!!

Is it usual to carry out a re-assessment and issue an award for only 6 months ? is there no end to this !!!

Get back in touch with the DWP, they have clearly set the date on your letter wrong, the minimum award of PIP is none nine months.
