Pip renewal was created by pomaus
My partner received his Pip renewal form back in December.
Today he has received a letter from the dwp saying.
" We now have all the information we need to decide if we can award you personal independence payment. There is no need to do anything, we will write to when weve made a decision about your Pip claim"
Does this mean he will not be called in for an assessment and they are just going to assess his claim based on the information supplied in the renewal form? or could he still be called in.
Many thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Whilst an assessment is still possible it very unlikely that one will be required and I would expect the next thing you hear about will the Decision.

Thanks Gordon
Guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.
He was one of the 1.6 Million people who had their claims reassessed due to the changes in law on mobility descriptors.
We had a lovely letter in the post one day, saying that he had been reassessed and given enhanced rate of mobility along with backpay,
Then a couple of weeks later, his review form dropped through the door.
Talk about going from joy to terror in a matter of days.
We filled out the review forms, like it was a new claim with all the information resubmitted as suggested by this site, along with supporting documents. We have not heard anything for months, until this new letter arrived.
We were going on the assumption that he was going to be called in for medical, now we dont know what is going on.
