Multiple pip f2f assessments. was created by joxer
(1st post). Anyone had to face multiple pip f2f assessments?
Am being moved from dla (middle care, lower mobility; both indefinite).
Am in Scotland, so IAS (new name of ATOS in Scotland), is the assessor.
First assess early March, they failed to turn up.
Second one late march. Took 1hr 45m, and assessor made a right mess of it; eg didn't I'd themselves or tell me their profession.
Now theyve come back for a 3rd try early May..
Will be another full f2f as they say (told my cpn) that their internal audit procedure could not pass my assessment as an acceptable standard. Also that if they passed case as is back to dwp it's almost certain dwp would reject it (thru no fault of mine).
(Had part time carer with me on first 2 times, will have my cpn with me for next.).
Is this unusual? My cpn (over 30yrs experience) has never heard or been involved with such an occurrence.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
We are seeing it happen more often but it is still quite rare, unfortunately, until an acceptable report has been produced your claim cannot progress.
Consider making a complaint about having to have a second appointment
Complaining to the PIP Assessment Providers
