Retracting Evidence was created by Tinol
Hi all,

I have recently submitted my ESA-50 form alongside several supporting letters. My condition is Autistic Spectrum Disorder and I was diagnosed as an adult, at the age of 24, in September 2017. As part of this diagnosis I received a twelve page report from the NHS Trust carrying out the assessment. I am presently in the WRAG and have been since May 2018, after my case went to a tribunal.

After consideration however I am concerned about whether this report is still relevant to my situation. The report, whilst detailing many of the difficulties that I have faced, also provides examples of things that I had been able to achieve at the time, such as travelling on a train to Manchester, which I did almost two years ago. However, I would argue that my situation and abilities have dramatically deteriorated since this time, and I therefore feel that the report is no longer relevant to my present circumstances.

Unfortunately, without thinking I decided to submit this report to the assessors at Maximus along with my ESA form, with this being received at the mail handling site on the 24 April 2019. I do not believe that it will have been considered at this stage, and I am wondering whether it might be possible to retract this document altogether before it is formally considered. Before I do so it might also be useful if somebody, such as an independent advisor, could provide me with an impartial opinion as to whether I should keep this document as part of my papers. Who, if anybody, would you recommend do this?

Regards

I don't see any way to withdraw the report if anything trying to do so will just draw attention to it.

For advice, do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.
