hi folks, although I am mid term with my benefits, currently higher rate pip and support group esa. I often read the information with interest on here. so thankyou for that.
my question is something someone from citizens advice said to me...
"which illness was I actually claiming for", seemed strange to me as all my health issues affect me differently.
so my question is, do you pick one or two and concentrate on those. or do you give them all issues? last time I have them all issues and was in interview for 2 hours !!! made me really I'll for days after and she could see I was struggling and kept asking for a close to the meeting.
If you have two conditions that affect/limit you in the same way then I would mention both but only explain in detail for the one that impacts you the most. As an example; you are unable to stand in the kitchen due to a slipped disc and Arthritis in your knees and hips, the disc problems affect you more so I would explain these in detail,
If you have two conditions that affect you in different ways then I would explain both in detail. Again as an example; due to Depression you need prompting to prepare and cook a meal, you also have Arthritis in your hands which prevents you from holding a knife safely.
Obviously, scale this up if more than two conditions.
