PIP reassessment on retired people was created by Baldeagle
Hello. I am 69 and have been getting DLA/PIP for about 7 years. I currently have a PIP award of 11 points for care mainly for mental health problems, osteo arthritis and minor incontinence from prostrate and diabetes complications.
My award expires approx August 2019 and I would like to know if I will still be called in for reassessment. Last time I was referred to a Psychiatrist for strong suicidal ideation during mandatory review. Thanks. Len Brooks.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I would have expected you to have received a reassessment form by now which implies that your award will be renewed, this means a new PIP2 and possibly another face to face assessment. I would contact the DWP now as it could easily take 3 months for the process to be done.

You will need to contact the PIP Claim line

www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim

Make sure that you tell them that this is a renewal and not a new claim as you cannot make the latter now that you are over 65.
