New PIP claim was created by Madwife21
Lost my Car on transfer to PIP. Appealed decision but it was upheld and more mobility points taken from me.
Now have an additional diagnosis to my chronic progressive illness.
Unsure whether to apply again as cant stand the thought of being kicked in teeth again.

Advice please

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

A new diagnosis does not necessarily mean that you will score higher.

Do you understand how the assessor marked you?

Can you reasonably explain how you now meet the criteria for a higher award?

Notifying the DWP of a Change will result in a new PIP2 being issued and almost certainly another face to face assessment, the new Decision will supersede your existing award whatever the result might be.

If you do notify the DWP then do so in writing and use a Tracked post so you have proof of delivery, the date of your letter should be used for the start date of any new award.
