Help re:- ESA mandatory reconsideration was created by carolyn wilson
I apparently missed a ftf - I didn't receive a invite . Apparently the 2nd one they'd sent , ESA contribution based and in the support group. Over the telephone the lady said she couldn't overturn the decision . I waited several weeks but never got this in writing . So I got my partner to download the mandatory reconsideration form , filled it in and posted it together with a 3 month sick note from my GP. ( I was on incapacity benefit previous to ESA , high rate DLA all components , now enhanced pip both components )
They have now sent me form ESA3QR(IBRD) I don't know what's going on . Can you help please ??????

Hi Carolyn

The ESA3QR (IBRD) is looking at your financial situation because you are currently on contribution based ESA (even if you are appealing the decision). They want to examine your claim and see if you are eligible for income-related ESA. I would advise you to fill it in and send it back.

In terms of your mandatory consideration, I would put in a call and check that the form has no bearing on this process.
