Please can someone offer suggestions as to how to describe a typical day when the patient doesn't have one as he is really ill for most of the time, Don't want to be seen as evasive or unhelpful

In terms of describing a 'typical day,' I would take one or two of the patient's worst days and describe those giving a good overview of their difficulties, how they have an impact on the patient's life and against the stated criteria.
