Each descriptor on my assessment report had a 'justification' for the points awarded, and each justification had a line 'MSE shows that.....' I've had to Google it, and find that it's a Mental State Exam, though I didn't know that the underhand nurse assessing me had carried one out. It's a different 'MSE shows that...' for each descriptor, more-or-less, but the weirdest one was 'MSE showed he had average build.' Have I got this all wrong, or is it a bit bizarre? I'll be challenging the assessor's competency in a few areas for my MR, and this may be one.
