Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

HI SLW
Sorry, if I have not been clear.
In your appeal, you will be challenging everything from the assessors report that you consider incorrect. In addition, when the mandatory reconsideration was made they will also have made comments that you may disagree with and you should challenge those as well. Your aim is to show where you believe you scored more highly against the criteria than the points currently awarded, with the evidence you have already submitted or any new evidence.

Good morning,
For clarification the UT is the Upper Tribunal - the highest challenge in a benefit dispute and then only if a point of law has been raised by the First Tier Tribunal.*
FTT = first tier tribunal, this panel are the appeal panels that a claimant appeals to if they want to challenge the mandatory reconsideration.
* it is possible to appeal further to the courts but very slow and impossibly expensive. Usually such cases are intervened by the Public Law Project or Child Poverty Action Group. Legal Aid will usually be granted to the claimants but very unusual.
