Attendence Allowance and PIP was created by mosala
I am 64. 65 in July. I am waiting for the result of my PIP re-assessment.
If I were to just get the Mobility rate, but lose the Daily Living, by then applying for Attendence Allowance for Daily Care, would that affect my already decided PIP Mobility. Or will PIP and AA be looked at separately?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It's now 65 or State Retirement Age, whichever is the higher.
Would you not challenge the Decision not to award the Daily Living component?
In principle, AA can be paid alongside a PIP Mobility award it used to be done with AA and DLA I'm just not aware of anybody having done it.

If I get Mobility, but not Daily Living, I'd be afraid to risk losing Mobility, by challenging Daily Living. The mobility element is the most important because I can't apply for that again after age 64. So I thought best keep the mobility and then wait until I am 65 and apply for AA Daily Living. As long as they don't look at PIP mobility, when I apply for AA. Does this make sense?
But, here's hoping I get both PIP elements!
