Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi T
I don't know whether you are aware that your real name is showing. You can change it by following the instructions in the link below.
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

With regard to staying on DLA. I am afraid that your advisor has misinformed you. Everyone who is still in receipt of DLA is being migrated over to PIP regardless of their current medical condition. When you are notified that your DLA is being stopped you will be offered the chance to apply for PIP. This will be treated as an entirely new benefit claim and you will be asked to provide evidence - your own and any additional medical evidence - to show that you meet the criteria on the PIP form (which is different from the DLA).

Just to be clear everybody under the age of 65 on 8 April 2013 (UK mainland) or 20 June 2016 (Northern Ireland) will be invited to claim PIP those who were 65 or older on these dates will remain on DLA.even if they have a Change of Circumstances.

My husband is 65 in 9 mth am totally amazed that we got the From DLA to PIPS form to fill in I thought that he had to come of it anyway when he was 65 so I really cant see the point in us having the stress of all this for just 9 mths
