Time limit for returing form to DWP

Hi there, my mother received DLA to Pip invite letter on 22/5/19 and rang to claim her PIP pack etc on 23/5/19 (the deadline to ring DWP was 12th June). The forms have yet to arrive at her home and although she has chased it, DWP say they sent it out straightaway.

Does anyone know how long these forms take to arrive?
Also, once the form has been received by my mother, how long do they give you to complete it and return to DWP?

Hi there, my form took a week to arrive after I requested it, so I lost a week to fill it out but you can extend the time to fill it out if you contact them once you have received your forms.

OH form took 2 weeks and 2 days to arrive.
You have a month from the date of the initial phone (The date the form was requested) call to fill it out and as BIS said, you can get that extended by two weeks.
I started making notes and gathering copies of all evidence making sure it all had NI and numbering pages so I could refer to a specific page during answering in preparation whilst waiting for form so was able to complete it and return it within the time left.

I telephoned DWP today in relation to the deadline of 13th June and I got an extension of 2 weeks. I am having real difficulty in getting CAB to assist with the completion of the form. The local branch was quoting the middle of July for an appointment!
