HI there.
Quick question.
My son receives ESA, PIP and housing benefit and council tax reduction.
We are renting at the moment but will be moving to our own home in the next couple of months.
He obviously won't be claiming Housing benefit ( it;s in a UC area)
Would him applying for his council tax reduction only, be termed as a new benefit and would he then be transferred to UC?

Council Tax is not one of the benefits that come under the UC umbrella so making a claim for a reduction will not result in a need to claim UC.

One more question.
My niece is going to apply for the first time for PIP.
I know she has to phone them but is the link to the sample copy of the PP1 , the questions she will be asked on the phone?
