Hi all
Please dont moan at mt grammar and spelling, Im not so good at this and the wife is at work.
I have had the dla>pip letter and today the PIP claim form arrived, 2 points the wifes father has just died and she is in shock after the funerall, she is going away for about 10 days and the form is due back on 18th july, so not a lot of time when she comes homs, also the envelope is only 2nd class so that adds time to delivery, can i ask for more time, also should i still send via recorded delivery?. next sorry is i have had a letter from consulant about neuroligical test that heads or tails some is great for me other is hang on they will jump on that to disbute certain things do i send and ride the wave or "forget it" cheers

Hi William

No need to apologise - your post is very clear.

1. You can ring now and ask for a two-week extension. You only have to say that you need more time.

2. It is always best to return the form with proof of postage if you can afford it - because it gives you a record of the form arriving should they try to say it hasn't.

3. It is up to you whether you use the consultant's letter, but if you think the contents could harm your claim, then you are probably better not sending it.
