Please can the advsors reply to this. Or gorden any one would be fine with some knowledge about it. Im wanting to ask about refusing a medication presecribed by the G.P. i have good reason to not take it. Im going to a alternative herbalised practioner. I been given good advice on healing my condition with herbs. I havevseen it improve. So i decided not take medication as it interferes with it working. Now i asked to be referred back to cfs specialist for support with my other medical condition. They are asking for results first tests. It shows i do not take prescribed medication. But the G.P is trying pressure me into taking it. Im pretty sure cfs specialist are going to refuse seeing me also because of this. I read up that i have rights under the patient rights on the NICE nhs page. That if i need a service to help me they cant refuse to see me if i reject the medication. I have right to reject medication if not suutable for me and still be seen supported by nhs services as i want medical letters of support from them to for my medical coming ESA. Please can you give your opinion on this knowledge. As i am very confused when i should feel get more support. This service supports me in my rehabilitation. Can i complain if they refuse me again. How fo i do this ask G.P to rewrite a letter to them. Or fo i contact NICE. To complain thanks nicky.

This is really outside of the scope of the forum.
You most certainly have the right to refuse treatment if you wish and that should not be held against you.
Referral to a specialist is at the discretion of your GP, so I would discuss your concerns with them.
