PIP mobility was created by pamela
Sorry but I have looked through the PIP guides and apart from saying you can still carry on recieving PIP after pension age.It does not make it clear to me if your health deteriates and you are on PIP but not mobility could you be awarded mobility if you fit the criteria. Please advise if known.Thanks.

The PIP (and DLA) legislation does not allow a Mobility award to be increased if the claimant has a Standard award or an award to be made if not already in payment once the claimant reaches State Retirement Age or 65 whichever is the higher.

So basically it means they can continue to get PIP Daily living rate as per now but cannot be awarded mobility componant. Thought not .Thank you for confirming this.Gordon
