Does anyone know if there is a video link re the examination a health professional undertakes at an assessment. At my daughters assessment the doctor has written that her knees fully extend when we have it on records from when her problems began that her knees cannot fully flex and this is by a consultant specialist. Nothing has changed therefore I am wondering how this doctor drew his conclusion. He also put physical examination wasn't required so not sure if that is something different. We also had this problem when the health assessor at her PIP assessment stated that she was able to crouch down to the floor and stand up again, something which she didn't do as would be unable to do as her knees only bend back so far. So have been trying to see if there are videos used by the assessors to see how they reach their decisions. Hope that makes sense.

If you are asking whether the assessment was videoed then the answer is no, if you are asking if there are any videos of assessments then do a search of YouTube but none of these are "official" and I'm not sure how they would be relevant to your daughter's assessment.
Do you have medical evidence that documents the problems that she has with her knees?

Hi Gordon, thanks. I didn't mean would they have filmed my daughters assessment or am looking for films on other assessments. Was just wondering in what the examination is to deter someone has fully flexible knee's. Yes I do have documentation that states her knees aren't fully flexible on a medical report and it states that this has been a prolonged problem. So was just wondering how the assessors carry that bit of the assessment out. Sorry probably not making much sense. Thank you though anyway.

Hi Craftyfran
As it said "No physical examination necessary," - it sounds like he came to his conclusions by observation alone, which is common and clearly you can challenge through the evidence you have.
