A heads up in case anyone else receives such correspondence. A letter arrived today saying:
“This letter is to confirm that you agreed, over the phone, not to receive the normal seven days’ notice we give for your face-to-face consultation for Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
Because this is a short-notice appointment, it is likely that you will receive letter after your appointment”
Blah blah blah
No such phone was made and we attended our f2f last week. I phoned Capita and was told to ignore the letter which is a system error. They truly are useless.
I’m making a complaint. Thought I’d post this in case some poor soul out there is freaking out. Lord knows how many of these letters have been dispatched.
