Hi,
I've went from middle rate care and high mobility dla to nothing in pip. Scored 2 points. Capita consultation was recorded and the HP still told lies on her report ffs. I'm gonna sort that out with a complaint to all bodies after I sort out my MR and appeal.
So my question is, I'm from Northern Ireland and the when we put in an appeal the dla money is reinstated until tribunal or March 2020 whatever comes 1st. But it isn't reinstated during the MR only when the appeal is lodged. So if I put in a strong MR which I could I could possibly go weeks/months with no money and the knock on effect of losing my esa premiums as well and at the end of it still need a tribunal probably. I was thinking of putting in a very short MR with no further evidence and get a quick turnaround time so I can put in an appeal quickly to get my money reinstated asap and fight my case there. Or will a weak MR go against me at appeal. Don't get me wrong I could give a great MR claim, but I would be in serious trouble without the money if it went on for along period of time. Also if not getting the result I need and March 2020 getting closer I could end up out of money again then waiting on an appeal date. What you guys think.
Btw sorry for the long winded post.
Oh and I have really bad Crohn's disease and a couple of fistulas (tunnels going from my bowel to bladder)

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

It is possible that the DWP triage MRs to see whether they can be processed quickly but my experience is that this does not happen and 95%, if not more, of the time is spent waiting for your file to reach the top of the pile on the DMs desk.

The information you provide with your MR will be part of the documents provided by the DWP for the appeal but you will have a chance as part of the appeal to provide additional testimony and evidence.

Som, if you decide to go for a quick MR, if that thing exists, then I would make it very simple, for example; I disagree with your Decision and believe I meet X Descriptor of activity Y because of condition Z.

Is the challenge a pip medical report that has over 50 grounds of appeal with sample texts, to be used at the appeal stage or MR stage or both.
Sorry but I'm so confused.
Because in the pip appeal submissions there is a sample MR request and its very short.
Thanks in advance

You can use it for either or both, a DM is less likely to see problems with the report than a Tribunal panel so I would direct their attention to the significant ones, for example; those that are clearly at odds with the evidence you provided and stay away from the trivial ones like the assessor said I was wearing a hat and I was not.

DMs have a short attention span so try and keep your MR short subject to your dealing with all the important issues and put the most important ones at the top. Make it easy to read and reference your evidence rather than including it.
