PIP F2F AT HOME was created by Broadline
Hello
My daughter (22) has learning difficulties and language & communication difficulties. I have Lasting Power of Attorney so her application from DLA to PIP was done by me - I am a widow.
Her F2F will be at home next week and I am asking a friend to sit in with me and my daughter. Can you advise what happens at the END of the F2F please. Am I given any preliminary findings/report? Can I ask for a copy of what he/she has written about my daughter. Does the friend who is accompanying me have to provide identification as requested for me and my daughter?
Many thanks

Hi Karen

As your daughter's f2f is at home they are unlikely to ask for proof of identity. They will ask your friend's name, but no she doesn't have to provide any form of identification.

When the assessment is at an end, the assessor will probably give you an approximate time when they will finish the report and upload it to the online system (probably 1 or 2 days). They are not supposed to tell you anything about the report before it is submitted. About four or five days after your daughter's assessment, you can ring the DWP and ask for a copy of the assessment report. If it's not there - do not panic - but just phone again. It takes 6 - 10 days to arrive.
