We went to the PIP F2F this morning, she was running 30 minutes late, so it was a bit nerve racking having to wait this extra time, but we survived! The Nurse was nice enough, no complaints there, she said as my husband was registered blind and it was a condition which cannot improve or be treated, she will recommend him not having to attend again. So that was nice, although she went onto say the DWP often ignored the recommendation. She said the decision is with the DWP regarding the award and time frame. BUT she complemented me on the form filling she said it was like Christmas for her reading it, so thankyou Gordon and BIS and the very good B&W PIP guides. Fingers crossed, its a waiting game again, but at least that part has now finished.
